BioMIT is a multidisciplinary biomedical engineering research group. Our work spans three complementary areas: biosignal analysis, energy-based therapies, and electroporation-based therapies. We combine basic and applied research with technological innovation to address challenges in healthcare.

Since 2006
The organization was founded in 2006 by José J. Rieta, who serves as CEO and leads our research in Biosignal Analysis.
